I've only been on here, not even a week. And for how kinda fun, mutually respectful, and good natured the rest of the forums on the site seem, this forum is like, hyper aggressive.

Short of like Topix or Craigslist I've never been in a forum where you'll give a measured response, and the answer will just be someone shouting "Fuck you" "nigger" or some other similar thing without so much as a cursory effort towards discussion.

So....long time members....is it usualy like this or are there just a migration of trolls passing through right now?
 
Thats just the way it is on the geebee. Put up or ship out, your choice.

This is the GB. Unmoderated, untamed. We thrive on snark, but yeah, there's a bunch of trolls who are universally recognised as such. Use either mental or lit-provided ignore.

If you're looking for consistent civilized conversation, the Playground is a good place to start.
 
Anything goes here and I rarely post. I more or less am here for the amateur pic section. However I do browse the GB because on occasion I read funny posts and I enjoy some of the squabbling here. Although not everyone here acts like a jerk for the sake of being a jerk here.

Yeah, you're one of the more civilized guys I've come across on the GB, which is a nice change. :) Plus, your politics seem to be on the same side of the fence.

True...me, I don't under how people are against Same Sex marriages...I've been to two SS Weddings, and the receptions were BLOW OUTS!!!! LOL
