Most of mine are me. My thumb or arm or hand or sometimes my face.

It just takes a trust of the people around you, that if they are here and can see you, that they would respect youif they saw you on the street.

Well, at first the idea kinda freaked me out. But, then, EL had this idea of having self-AV body part days (basically, you put up a new AV of a different body part every day for, like, a week, I think it was). That was when I decided that no one would really recognize my leg or my foot or my hand or my lips . . . so, it wasn't a big deal. And, I didn't care if anyone downloaded any of those parts of my body because those are things that EVERYONE in the world who sees me IRL are privy to on a given day. Does that make sense? Anyway, that's how and why I've used real AVs of myself and not been freaked out about it.

Oh, and the first experience? Not freaky. No freakishness involved. Promise. *nods*

Unless I am in costume, I doubt that anyone would recognise me in the street. I am just another large bearded man and most people don't look beyond the beard to notice details of the face.

Unusual make-up and a wig in a different style and colour would produce the same effect. Look at the differences between actresses on the red carpet and slumming around in their own neighbourhood. Very few look like their public image without hours of work.

You could dye your bush and pretend to be a real redhead/blonde/whatever.

I used stage make-up on my beard because it washes off. I hoped that it wouldn't rain while I was on parade...
