In the Peak District.
At 2.10 am.
The weather report lied.
So much rain.
High winds.

2.hours to erect 3 tents. 3 snapped tent poles (we're all experienced campers BTW).

Went to sleep fairly quick but then woken by noise. A tent close to us pretty much disintegrated in the wind. Went to help but too dark.

They're in their car.

I'm wide awake in my tent.

And miserable as hell.
