So there's this big paaaarty

Of a fetishy nature, of course. Live music, fire throwing, and of course actors in some sort of kinky staged event. This group apparently performs a few events per year and it's said to be a grand affair. I've checked out the websites, talked to a couple of people who know them, and in essence been a good little schoolgirl. *chortle*

But one thing I haven't gotten around to asking is what to wear! Since it's the night before Halloween and it's a strictly fetish event, I figure gear is good. But I haven't felt especially leatheresque for awhile. Not sending predatory vibes. I'm actually eyeing my favorite "daddy's little girl" outfit and wondering. Would that be out of place? I'll only know one person that will actually be there and I really don't want to alienate anyone. I just want to belong! Oh wait, I already used my one "chortle" for the post.

Anyway, if dress code isn't specified, what's a safe assumption for a fetish party in a public location? It's not quite as "mom's-apple-pie-American-dream" as Denny's but it IS by day a nilla establishment. Doors open at 9 so all the good children should be in bed. I'll just be the exception.

And, of course, anyone else got fun plans for this weekend?

Well, I'd go in one of those cool midevil dresses they have at the local goth store. But their are also some great devils in short dresses and stuff like htat.

Dark raves are fucking fun, especially when it's not all techno and they throw in industrial and metal acts along. You don't have to dress up but it's part of the fun. And sometimes cheaper. Unfortunately I haven't been to a dark rave but have seen videos from them.

For me, I think I'll be heading to a house party or The Massacre at the Beach at Y. Still thinking. None of them won't be dark or kinky though, just some normal partying. Still thinking.

If I know my friends and family, and I do, I'll be babysitting. I'm never invited to the parties, I'm always asked to watch the kids. I don't know if I'd go, but it'd be nice to be asked on occasion.

LOL Not that easy. But I have to admit last year I had a small blow up, and chewed my sister out for not even thinking to invite me. It's rude!

I know that kind of feeling... it's not the same, but the night before my wedding, my brothers and family went out drinking, while I was sitting alone in my apartment.

Glad they were thinking about me...
