'tis the ides of march, and hence we ought to beware. but considering the likelihood of being stabbed repeatedly by one's friend on the floor of a government building seems remarkably low, i thought this might be an interesting exploration of how our days have gone pear-shaped today, this 15th of march.

it's early yet, so i can't report any reason to beware the ides of march.

...yet.

how about you?

I'm confused as to what the post is asking...

But heck, it's March and summer's a-comin' !!!! WOOT WOOT!!!!!!!!!

No, no reason to beware -- no more so than on any other day.

It's raining out so beware of wet slippery roads? :)

"Beware the ides of march" is from Julius Caesar by W. Shakespeare. If memory serves a psychic says this, and on that day Caesar gets stabbed on the floor of the Senate by a bunch of conspirators led by his once friend Brutus (which is where we get the line "Et tu, Brute?").

So this post is asking if there is any reason you should be worried about today because it is the "ides of march".

I am wary of today because I have a final exam which I am not prepared for. g

I don't think this was only according to a Shakespeare play... I'm pretty sure Ceasar was actually stabbed by conspirators. But anyways, I'm no historian.

If the question is that simple, then I would say no! Nothing to be wary of in March. In fact, let's celebrate March for marking the end of winter! Yayyyy!

I'm on spring break at the moment. So far, so good. To guarantee that things stay that way, I'm not checking my work email until tomorrow. :)

Aren't the ides some sort of yearly meteor shower?

Or

Cast ne'er clout till may is out...

What's with all this Winter Spring shit, it's bloody Autumn.

Autumn?? Shit thank God it's not!! I don't think I could survive another winter right now :O
