a bit plastic
and prefer the small town feel
of somewhere like playa del carmen
also attracts many europeans
who are far less repressed
than americans
about nudity and sex

I've been to both of these places while on the same trip. We rented a villa in the hills and went to both Breezes and Hedo on "day passes".

Depending on the rates you're getting, Hedo is where you want to be hands down! Much newer, cleaner and more fun.

I still say Hedo. . .

There were ten of us in our group, including my son & daughter (both in their early 20's). He was with his girlfriend, she doesn't have a boyfriend at the moment. They both had a blast.

The "naughty" area is seperated from the "nice" area by a huge open air atrium with pool tables in the pool, bars, restaurants and slot machines. Of course, there is a huge water slide there. It seems to be some sort of tradition for the girls to climb up to the top and strip off their bathingsuit tops before going down the slide. . .all to the adoring applause of the men below. Judging from your photo, this would be no problem for you. ::winx::

Go to Hedo. You can be as naughty or as nice as you choose to be and you'll have a great time!

When they say "watersports" on their web site, do they mean like surfing, scuba diving, snorkelling, etc, or are they talking about "watersports" <nudge nudge wink wink>?

I would vote for Hed 3.... I stayed in Negril, Jamaica at the same kinda resort ... it was fantastic, ~thonger just LOVED Jamaica!!
hot, sun, sand, great diving... <pout> want to go back!!!
