Thanks , I always thank my spellchecker on my research papers and stuff.

I tried to pay attention and learn but in grade 12 i was finally diagnosed with dyslexia and dyscalcia too little to late, nost of my spelling of undure i spell the way i sound it out, so if you speak out loud my misspelling you can generally tell what i was getting at

Yep, one thing Lit needs is a spell check attached for when we post :)

Everything I put out, even a short addition to my website I fax or email to one of my spell check people or the editor of my publishing business. My gammar sucks too. But I am getting better as the years go by. I LMAO when I read through the first draft of my first manuscript, the typos in it stink :)

It is one thing to be a bad speller.

It is another thing to be a bad speller and know it. You can do something about it. I do, it is called a dictionary.

I can tell when a word doesn't look right. Be damned if I know what is wrong with it. So I look it up.

A long time ago, before my formal post high school education started I had to create a chart for work. It was a simple little thing, listing patient names, days of the week, and when things were due. I miss-spelled Wednesday. The rest of the staff gave me a hard time, so I tried again, and got it wrong.

Wednesday. That isn't how I say the word. So why is it spelled that way?

That was one of the most embarrassing moments of my life.

I just looked up embarrassing. I have spelled it a hundred times in my life I am sure. But I can not remember how to spell it. It is just one of the words I can not picture in my head. Forget math and numbers. Can't do it. I can not add two plus two in my head.

But I know that, and I use things to help me.

Just a suggestion but a spelling dictionary (different than a regular dictionary) is a wonderful thing to have, just like having a calculator handy.

Ah! Toddy.

Your spelling doesn't suck.

It's poor.

You suck.:p
