So I've moved house...

...and I'm still in one piece

I had little to no sleep for two days and did more packing, moving and un-packing of boxes than is good for a persons health, dismantled a divan bed and a wardrobe and put them both back together once upstairs -but we're in,we#re living here and although we have nothing to sit on in the living room or a matress to sleep on, we're all happy.

Thanks to all who gave hints and tips on the removal of paint and a special thanks to Crim and the nail polish remover -that got off layers of paint so we could unscrew the bannister rail and get furniture upstairs - I owe you one for that tip.

Min and I are up to our eyes in paint at the moment, doing the bathroom. That has to be the worst room in the house to decorate.......so many nooks and crannies and things to be protected from paint. There are so many black plastic bags taped up in there, its beginning resemble a BDSM torture chamber!! We'll both be glad when this part is done !!

Just finished a move myself and I know it's no fun.

This time though we moved from a rental to a place we own. Oh what a feeling. It made the hell of moving almost worth it.
