So...Impeach Trump...Why?...Can you prove it?

For your edification: Even after all the time Ken Starr put into the investigation, the thing they found and the thing the house voted to impeach him on: One (1 take note of that number) count of lying about getting a blowjob. Nothing else was charged.

Not true at all. Four articles of impeachment were charged against Clinton by the House: perjury to a grand jury, perjury in the Paula Jones case, obstruction of justice, and abuse of power.

The abuse of power charge failed by a vote of 148-285, and the Jones case perjury charge failed 205-209.

Clinton was impeached by the House on the perjury to a grand jury charge by a 228-206 vote and the obstruction of justice charge, 221-212.

The perjury charge was defeated in the Senate 45-55, and the obstruction of justice charge was defeated 50-50.

67 votes on either charge was needed to remove Clinton from office.

Well, Trump has never testified before Congress under oath.

Neither did Bill Clinton. He did lie under oath to a grand jury, however. Trump has not testified as Prez. before Congress either, but he has testified under oath to Mueller.

What?! When did Mueller take his depo?!

I recall reading online that two of Trump's lawyers did a practice deposition session with him, with one playing Mueller and Trump playing himself. They concluded that Trump must never be allowed to testify under oath, because he is psychologically incapable of telling the truth.

he has testified under oath to Mueller.

Cite? He, through his lawyers, has responded to questions in writing. Was an accompanying oath signed? This is Trump we're talking about. He lies incessantly and without reservation "under oath."

If not then STFU already!

There are plenty of people on the job since BEFORE he was elected.

Gerald Ford said it best: "An impeachable offense is whatever a majority of the House of Representatives considers it to be at a given moment in history.”

No hard requirement for actual evidence.

Impeachment isn't bad enough for Trump.

He's submitted sworn answers to written interrogatories. Or so we've been told. That is a form of testimony under oath.

Can you cite that the written answers were sworn to be true? Hope so, because any lies in there will hang him. I haven't seen actual evidence of an actual oath given. It isn't really a point in anyone's mind other than Trumps. Lying in this context is chargeable, whether or not under any sort of an oath. Saying "I was crossing my fingers" doesn't cut it in the U.S. government from a U.S. official.

I can't cite you to a written source, but that is what I have heard reported. And I have never seen written answers to interrogatories that were not sworn to. For Trump to try that would just give Mueller more ammunition to support a subpoena, and I don't think Trump's attorneys would want that. But stranger things have happened, so no telling.
