.....that I really love the way they talk. It might be because I'm no native-speaker in english but I adore that wonderfully rythmed way of talking. This 'old' words, the 'ancient' feel. Just adore it.

It sure is a great relief and a nice change from 'Hey, yo dog, whazzup'

I don't blame you. I've always had a thing for the Victorian Era style of speaking myself.

Pick up a copy of Lady Chatterly or Fanny Hill and you should get a pretty good sense of just how pleasant this form of speech really is, no matter what the subject matter.

Beautiful stuff, agreed. I was just reading Swift again and God, I love that man. Simple, straightforward, and yet so rich and intelligent as well.
