So I'm planning on flying to NY this summer...

to visit my angel~cakes.. and my mind is drawing a blank here. I need the names of some airlines so that I can price tickets. SWA doesn't do much for coast to coast flying, or at least they don't have any deals.

So, I'm flying from Oregon (PDX) to NY. I'd like a layover in OH so that I can visit fishie too.. how do I try to figure all that in?

Can anyone help me?

Price the tickets using something like expedia.com or one of the other travel sites. You can select the multiple legs of a trip and sort by price, location, time, etc.

I've tried Orbitz before.. I was just curious if I could get anything cheaper than $300-400 bucks.

I would rent a car.. but I would probably have an anxiety attack driving in unfamiliar territory.. I freak out when I miss an exit when I go to Portland

Um.. well shit. I'm getting the money from my savings in early June.. and I was thinking either June or July. It's still too early to plan a date yet.. cuz I still have to save up enough vacation time (I used a few days for this surgery/ recovery period). So... I don't know yet?

I'm looking to go about the same time as you. Maybe I should fly up to see you before heading off to the east coast. We may not have a lot of time to play with hon'. I guess we are looking at spending quality time with each other as opposed to quantity. *wink*. Okay!!! That works for me.

JetBlue is an option, but you'd have to get to Seattle.

Amtrak is also a thought...it takes a few days, but the trip can be fun.
