The issue is the seperation of church and state. I do not support changing the Pledge of Allegiance, but that is the base issue. This Government was started by Christians. We, as a country have welcomed people of all nationalities and religious backgrounds. We don't openly support one religion over another as a government. I think it is time we stop apologizing for our culture. If someone wants to leave out "under god," let them. But we spend so much time and energy working to not offend anyone, we end up offending everyone.
