there is anyone that will admit to either logging onto or calling one of those dating/sex lines. one of the ones that is in my area is live links, which i will admit to calling at least a few times.
and if you admit to it, did you ever meet anyone? and if you did, did anything happen?

Yeah, not live, but have registered (and cancelled) with a couple of those "services". They seem to be bullsh*t, with about 100000 times more guys than women, and they use plants for some of the women, too (so I have heard).

I batted a perfect "oh-fer"....complete waste of time!!!!

i agree about the waste of time, although i did make a somewhat good friend off of one of those lines. as for the plants you are very right, i had an offer to be payed to call and keep men on the line, and to get them to renew memberships. lol, like i would actually waste my time and day listening to desperate men beg women to talk to them, well that's what was on when i had the offer.

Interesting....and slap me for not being surprised, either....and all in the spirit of earning a dollar, too....and I use the term "earn" loosely....sort of makes the crack whores look like honest free market traders in the service industry, vending in an open-air environment....

i've heard some horror stories on the line too. the worst was the guy who picked up a girl, and of course we know what happened, after he took a shower(dumbass). while he was in the shower she took his wallet, car keys, and a few other things he didn't say. three days later they found his car a burned out pile of scrap, and she also had his house key. luckily he changed the locks that night.
makes you think twice about meeting people off those lines when you think about what could happen.

Yep....and there are posers in R/L too. One is obliged to keep his/her wits about them, and not believe everything that somebody tells them, until they have earned that trust. Some silly stuff can be avoided just by using one's brain as something other than ballast to keep one's skull from imploding.
