Or, Lady Cab Driver
Darling Nikki would be a good one.

Whatever you do, stay away from 'Purple Rain.' It's been done.![]()

Prince is inspirational, that's for sure.![]()
Imp-- do you like the other movies? I love the soundtracks-- Cherry Moon and Graffiti Bridge" both.

Where the guy is a little intimidated to find out just how aggressive and rapacious she is, but figures out that it works out in his favor. That would be a good story. I can see the troll's PF's now!S-Des said:I'd personally pick Little Red Corvette (with Darling Nikki as a decent backup). I like the vibe of the singer's POV. There are too many stories on Lit (and other places) that either have the guy as some confident stud, or will treat a confident woman as a slut. I'd take the time to read a well done story (giving me at least a few pages to get to know the characters) with that storyline.
Now I have to dig that cd out!IrezumiKiss said:Embrace your inner pimp and do "Bob George."
As a Prince fan from day one, you can't really go wrong with any of his songs, including the bootleg/unreleased stuff. But how are you approaching it? As a full story inspired from the title? A dramatic interpretation of the lyrics? Or something new created from the muse of listening to the song as you write it? So many ways...
The song going thru my mind right now is "Strollin'"
