Oh no, I clicked and read the propaganda link, biggest information I got was there is a new prime time lineup starting- I should stay tuned.

The rest of the reporting read like a bad soap opera script. I’m guessing that is where some of the Hollywood writers on strike have gone- looking for work writing anything.

All schools should achieve the same standards, but they don’t. I don’t blame teachers for the failure in our education system , the problem is bigger than that. The system is broken. Ideology over substance. Ideology and politics don’t belong in the classroom. Unions were originally organized to protect teachers from unfair labor practices not determining academic structure. The same amount of funding goes into urban schools as suburban schools. How much of that funding goes to union activities.

However, like virtually all other unions that represent public employees they use the notion of "public good", and in the case of the teacher's union "it's for the children" as a shield/excuse for their demands. In virtually all of those cases nothing could be further than the truth, it's for their own benefit, any 'public' good is purely secondary.
