...and I'm a teensy bit disappointed with the results. They're just not as white as I thought they'd be. I don't smoke or drink coffee, so they weren't really bad to begin with. I guess I'm just wondering why I had it done now. I mean, I could've bought a box of Crest White Strips and had the same result.

Anybody else had this kind of experience?

Did you have them Zoomed?

I went with the Crest strips and it worked pretty well. Probably time to do it again...

Yeah. The only problem with the Crest strips is that it doesn't seem to last very long.

The chick at the dentist's told me they would probably get whiter as the day goes on. I just looked, and I think they do look whiter now. Not really sure what I expected. *shrugs*

Seems like I googled for comments/reviews/data about strips vs Zooming. I came away with the impression that the results were about the same, but the advantage of doing it in the dentists office is it's over and done and you don't have to do the messy crap twice a day for a week or two. And the strips were cheaper. Maybe the procedure/results have improved. It's been over a year.

It's your own fault. If you smoked, drank coffee and red wine you wouldn't be disappointed. :D

Hahaha...agreed.

I had my teeth professionally whitened several years and paid out the ass for it. And it looked GREAT!

Then a few weeks later I had to have three root canals on my front teeth (due to that "special" love that only my ex could give:rolleyes:).

Now, even when I the other teeth need whitening, those 3 teeth look great. So, I just get over the counter whitening aids and stop when the other teeth match those 3 crowns.

Hey... I gotta look for the good in everything, even though sometimes its difficult.:)
