Friday night here and I've had a pretty crappy week really with one thing and another...

So how was your week?

Yesterday i spent the day with my dad, shopping and hanging out Only having the one parent means i'm very close to him.
But today he's gone away for 10 days and i miss him already! hehe

But yesterday was the highlight of my week

My Mum has been away for the last 10 days overseas and is back in town in the morning.... I've been able to chat on the telephone with her, but it's not quite the same as being able to drop around for a cup of tea.....

I took the week off work on a non pay week.
I get paid fortnightly.
And during the first week of the school holidays.
So here i am sfucking broke with a bored 6 year old.

Yep, I have a 6 and 8 year old home for two weeks with school holidays... I think I will make a tape recording for next week.. "I asked you to do that an hour ago... do it NOW please!"

Joys of having my own business is I can take time off during their holidays, but the work if still there to be done.....

*sigh* I had a week that sucked big time! Found out on monday my passing out is not from low blood pressure but irregular heart beat. Had a friend stop talking to me on Thursday night. The only good thing about this week is that it is almost over and my love will be here next week.

My week was wierd. Tuesday I got hired for a job! It's restoring WW2 airplanes to fly again. New experience for me as I have to make everything from scratch, just like in the old days. The weird part is I've existed up till now working swing/graveyard shifts. This new job is 6:30am to 5 pm. In the past three days, I've slept a total of about twelve hours, I just can't seem to get to sleep. It's all toss and turn, waking every two hours. I'm afraid of being late for work as, my friend who helped me get the job vouched for me personally. I don't want to let him down. I will adapt to this eventually, up here Sunday am turns to daylight savings time so I lose an hour of sleep.

My week wasn't too bad, about normal. I'm glad it is Friday though.

My week was pretty good- pretty uneventful- I had off, so I didn't do much... although I did have a crazy night with some people on Tuesday, and I also had a fun "lunch date" with someone earlier that day. I would have to say that Tuesday was the highlight of my week.

Sunday was pretty good also, because I got to see my little cousins and my niece and nephew.

Well for one thing, it's already Friday night for you & I'm just starting my day. Sooo what does that say about my week? Actually I worked my butt off & missed a 4 million construction project by 20k. So it was for naught. Oh well, on to the next..

i had a pretty good week.. not sure about the weekend, i have the kids all day all night on the weekends, and i am so used to having them in school.. but we'll have fun. hopefully it wont be too cold.

For the first time in a while I had an ok week. Monday and Tuesday sucked at work, but everything else since then has been pretty good. And only 6 more hours of work until I am free from work for 2 days.

I started a new job this week.
I wanted "a challenge" . The good and bad news is that I got what I wanted.
It is so different from my other experiences in the field I work in (human services) and my head is spinning.
We practiced an intervention (taking someone down) and I fell on my ass.
Back at it tomorrow 8 am and the big test is on Mon.

Well, the week was pretty good. I got to see a friend for the first time after months of corresponding and that was great. I've had other friends make my week happier in the things they have said or done.

One of the kids is sick though, and that's hard. But it's harder on him because he's missing a trip to grandma's and possibly the Pinewood Derby to boot...
