i've gotten this phishing email 7 times. it has come under 3 headings-'i recorded you', 'video of you' and 'i caught you mastrubating (that's not a typo, that was the heading).

first of all, i'm supposed to give a basic shit? there is video on the web to cover all of these headings already. second, notice there is no amount demanded? does dash come in one cent increments? finally, what happens if i don't pay? they post the video on trump's twitter feed? god, i hate incompetent crooks!

Hmmm...I got an e-mail from someone saying "Check out this amateur video of some hot chick named Rae masturbating!"

And I clicked on it and....my computer started making weird noises, smoke and flames started pouring out of the hard drive, and when I drove downtown, there were all these huge billboards that had my name, social security number and bank account numbers up there.

All joking aside, that does kind of suck. I have not yet received any such messages, but I'm sure it's out there. If any of you have ever signed up for Nextdoor.com..... well, big mistake. It is one of those "connect with your neighbors" sites, but they sell their e-mail lists and member lists to pretty much every "online marketer" out there. It could have happened from some thing like that, where they got your e-mail.

I received that email ( or similar)a couple years back, I took a lot of time deliberating about something before i clicked the trashcan icon...I think I was deliberating on getting a beer, but it was a while back....
