So do you zigzag or serpentine?

Bratcat, I hope that this revives your faith in your upbringing

My daughter and her friends serpentined while trick-or-treating tonight.

Sophie the dog wanted to zigzag, but she was outvoted by the kids.

TorT

At our age, we stay home to hand out treats.

A number of years ago, when all the tampered candy scares made the news, my wife and I started giving nickles. With inflation it is now up to dimes. It is a kick when the kids leave shouting to others, "They give money!"

I've got a very nice serpent here for you, and it's non-poisonous.

Damnit *BC*!

I thought you were talking about rolling papers until I opened this thread up. In which case I would have answered that when I did use them, LONG AGO, I used Zig Zag AND JOB's.

To stay on subject though, there weren't that many people handing out candy in our neighborhood, so we zig zag'd.

Hmm...

We seemed to apply the buckshot method. Thing 1 and Thing 2 gravitated toward the houses that had doors that would make the loudest sound when they banged on them!

I didn't go out with the demonspawn this year, but I always did the serpentine method. I get nervous with kids running back and forth across the street with the cars going around.

I get a kick out of the people who give out cans of soda to the kiddies. Mine came home with 2 cans of pepsi, a can of MD and a can of root beer. Where were those people when I was a kid? :D

Man! Here in Survivalist Central, USA, my little catepillar got several mini comic books among the usual haul (no soda at all though - where did you say you lived?) which, once we got a couple frames into reading them, turned out to be religious tracts. Don't religious types EVER take a fucking night off?

Oh and i wanted to do the serpentine thing (cars, nervous, dark of night - same as SweetCherry) but he opted, loudly, insistently, albeit politely, for the zig zag method.

Everyone in my neighborhood sits on chairs in their driveways, it makes it very easy. People decorate the inside of their garages, then open the door Halloween night. It's cool, it's kinda' weird too because 1/2 the kids are on roller blades. No door knocking, no answering the door, you barely leave the sidewalk. Even so, we did a combination serpentine-zag-zag, but we're not that bright. :D

At first we zig zagged, then we did the straight shot then we zig zagged again.
