Lit Chat seems to be permanently down.

Is it offline for the upgrades that are being done or did I miss an announcement that it was being removed?

Latest Chat News: 10/15/09 - we're testing a new chat server for our flash chat. Please let us know if it seems faster or slower!


I think, after 4 years of the same upgrade being implemented - you might want to take Byron's post #2 as truth rather than snark.




edit: Laurel, apparently it is slower fwiw.

I love how all the forum regulars jump at every chance to shit on people for using a chat room. You guys are such a friendly bunch. Trust me, we don't want to be here with you any more than you want us here. We're just trying to get some information so we can move on.

Oh yeah, and perhaps if several of you not showed up here whining about the chat room, creating thread after relentless thread, you would have gotten a more congenial reception.
 
Coming from the person who created a thread claiming to be in the "Super secret elite" chat that nobody is supposed to know about. I don't think you have much room to be complaining about people making unnecessary threads.

Most of us are just here looking for answers. All you have to do is not click on the threads about chat and its out of your hair. Instead you are taking every chance to antagonize us for not being part of your little forum clique.

I'm not going to engage you any more on the subject, because feeding trolls is always a bad idea. You can't burn fire.
