So can you still have an Easter egg hunt in the snow?

:D Have them build snow baskets, forts and castles in the yard and hide the eggs in the towers and the edges. Just dont let any dogs near that might bury any real eggs or spring time will hold all kinds of new surprises:eek:

I'm frickin' tired of this weather.

(Oh - young son wants to go, rain or snow. There is currently snow on the ground and it is switching over to rain. But we'll go. Bleah.)

just be sure to leave a couple of the eggs untinted makes it more challenging:devil:

We're back. He's loaded with stuff.

Numbers were down so he snagged enough eggs to cheerfully share with big sis.

And I am so cold - gonna take awhile to warm up.

Pastor said it will be 277 years before Easter falls this early again.

I looked it up - that's fairly interesting, actually.

The next time it will be a day earlier (March 22) will be in the year 2285 (277 years from now).

Easter this year is: Sunday, March 23, 2008, as you may know Easter is always the 1st Sunday after the 1st full moon after the Spring Equinox (which is March 20).

This dating of Easter is based on the lunar calendar that Hebrew people used to identify Passover which is why it moves around on our Roman calendar.

I figured it was just randomly drawn by throwing a dart at a calendar sometime before advent.
