Lilith stood at the balcony, her raven hair flying wildly in the wind. Her hands were gripping tightly at the tone rail. She was clothed in in a simple green dress, a cord tied gently around her slim waist. With one breath she pulled herself to sit on the cold stone, she had waited for him, as long as her heart could take. Her face was flushed with tears, her eyes rimmed from crying. "Goodbye Christian.." she mumbled as she stood. Her barefeet on the cold stone.

"STOP!" came a voice but Lilith did not turn. WIthout even a thought she jumpped plummetting towards earth before her body vanished entirely. Her body compressed and soon a swan flew through the crisp night air. SHe had loved Christian and now he had deserted her. Back to the forest for her, no longer did she need to endure the pain, she would be the simplest, a swan.

It was early morning when he first set off, shotgun in tow, his spirits ready for the hunt. He was clothed in his usual simple garb, which in all honesty had seen better days. He smiled slightly to himself as he stepped outside, embracing the warm light of the early morning sun.
He breathed deeply before setting out, knowing all the best places to hunt, and heading towards the east.

The swan's form skimmed the water, soon settling on the top of it. To the naked eye she seemed to be a swan, but if one observed her eyes, they could see a depth there that no animal could have. There she sat, the world around her quiet, thankful for the simplicity of emotions, her heart could not ache.

Alone she floated, looking magestic on the sunlit lake.

Were those birds wings he could hear? He wondered what it was... He lowered himself to the ground, crouching low, in an attempt to hide in the various bushes and trees which covered the open space.

His eyes widened with what he saw. A swan? Around here? Alone? Surely not. He lifted the shotgun up, leveling it, and aiming it. The perfect shot. He watched the swan for a while, maybe he shouldnt shoot it, but it would bring a high price in the market.

Slowly Lilith turned towards the man, she knew he was hunting her. At this point a peice of humanity stood there. She peered through the bushes, wanting him to shoot her, put her out of her misery.

The wind stirred making the bushes he was in shake. Her gaze stayed on him.
