I directed a Public Access show along the lines of Letterman for two years.............I would still be doing it if my start hadn't moved away.............We had a very classy show; a live band every week and lots of comedy................

I did the scripting and story boarding...usually in front of camara talent. She did the techee stuff.

Hello and welcome.

Go out, start a few threads bashing alot of people and you'll have so many posts it will make your head spin...:D

Have fun and just go out there posting.

I love anything really.

I have hundreds of books and readily admit to reading romances. At the moment I am reading Sharyn McCrumb's Elizabeth MacPherson's mystery...Missing Susan.

Ayn Rand

I am an avid reader also.

My favorate author is a woman.....lets see she has passed away so would is be correct?

Her name is Ayn Rand

Have you read any of her stuff?

Richard

Nope, never read any of her work. I do not read alot of the older writings,as they dont seem to capture my interest.

I am an avid reader of sci-fi however and I adore Piers Anthony.

I love Stephen King.

I think Catherine Coulter and Julie Garwood should get alot more attention for their books.

Ahhh I could go on for hours so I will stop.

;)

More on Ayn Rand

Well I would not consider her as older writings

Her Atlas Shrugged is Sci - fi,mystery and romance

Much of todays freethinking movment and personal liberties movement comes from her and her arittings

There is even a school of psychology based on her

Richard

I was away watching the race, please excuse the delay.

Thank you for the into information.

What race did you watch?

Richard
in Michigan where it is still snowing

Nascar Winston Cup Series UAW-GM Daimler Chrysler 500 from Las Vegas

Sterling Marlin won. Michael Waltrip finished 22nd. It was an okay day.

Ayn Rand

LTR -

If you like Piers Anthony, I could reccomend one Ayn Rand novellette (Under 200 pages, I think) called "Anthem." (Here's the Amazon link of Anthem).

Anyway, very cool sci-fi story set in a future of outlawed technology.

I think you would like it.

- Judo

I will check out the Anthem book,it looked interesting from the sample pages Amazon had. Ahhh my addiction to reading is getting worse I think. ;)

Thanks,Judo.

Cool!

You're welcome, LTR. It was the only Ayn Rand I've read that I really enjoyed. Sorry, but Atlas Shrugged as a lot of work to get through.

;)

(By the way, do you think I can fit a pillow on the spreader bar?)

Ayn Rand

Wow !!!!

I got some people at lest a little turned on to Ayn Rand.

I read the Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged at lest once a year.

Atlas Shrugges was made into a movie in Italy during WW 11 and than hiden from all.

The Fountainhead was made into a movie here.

Nathianal Brandon has created a school of psychology based on her philosopy.

hr book "We the Lving" is some what autobiogphical of her time in Russia before she escaped.

'The Passions of Ayn Rand" is an excelllent movie.
