I agree that it is and the problem is that most of those areas would have small fires every year. But now they rush in and put out the fires so the underbush has a real chance to build up and then when one goes loose on them it has plenty of fuel and years of built up underbrush and dead trees to feed it.
I was going to say, in Forest Mgmt, I thought you were supposed to cut a break line and let it burn itself out. Oh well, may as well leave it to the pros.
Sorry Ms. Ohio, that is about all I know in forestry. Now, Micrometeorology, that is another matter. I can tell you the sky is blue right now, and it is 70 degrees out.
