A few years ago, I spent christmas afternoon at a beach in Perth, swimming and playing cricket on the sand.

Usually, christmas food will be salads, cold meats and seafood, with the day spent sitting around the pool or inside infront of the fan or with the airconditioner going flat out

If you can handle the weirdness of that, then you are more than welcome

Nothing beats seeing a New Years with too many beers under your belt - and your belt still in your jeans, sitting on the beach, as you stare at the stars and the ocean phospheresing around your body.

Sigh, it's been a long time since I've missed a New Years swim, not looking forward to this year.

And nothing says Christmas like a New Zealand Chirstmas Tree - the Pohutukawa.
