Snow Day!

School's closed here, too...

so instead of a quiet, peaceful day writing...

I'm dealing with insane children! :p

Enjoy your day off, Carson! ;)

Not the ten inches we were promised. Isn't that always the way...;)

Yeah, all the snow and ice we were supposed to get ended up being a lot of rain.
The roads were a tad icy this morning- icy enough for a 2 hour school delay. But after that, it was smooth sailing. It snowed for a while, stuck for a minute, but was melted a half hour later. :( Boo. I wanted a level three snow emergency. *pouts*

What would I do with a whole day free? (I've been working 7 days a week since Turkey day, so this is an exciting prospect. :D)
I'd get up, take a shower, and put my jammies back on.
I'd watch 'Steel Magnolias' and 'Dirty Dancing'.
I'd get online and dick around for a while, then switch to my other computer and play Sims because I'm a huge dork.
I'd order a pizza and eat ice cream.
I'd make my boyfriend play with me.
I'd read my new Dean Koontz book and take a nap.

*Sigh* Soon, soon. A few more weeks.

Only 12 inches of snow? Pffffft.

It went to -44C on Monday with windchills around -55~-60C, fresh from a snowstorm and we didn't close our schools.

Lucky Bastard.

We got a couple of inches. Still, a snow day is a snow day and I'm very appreciative.

Snow?

It was 80 degrees and beautiful here today.

On Tuesday, it was 75 degrees here and I was out running in the sunshine. Two hours later, it was 30 and raining ice. Our weather is generally apocalyptic.
