Snow Day!

Since He's the one responsible, should He be the one sneezin' and coughin' and stuff?

Don't be blamin' it on Him. I know who you made a deal with to have such a nice ass. *narrows eyes* I'm on to you.

DAMMIT! I woke up this morning to two inches of snow and IT'S STILL FALLING! I wanted to go to that new bible study. *sniffle* Plus K spent two hours trying to get to work (normally takes a maximum of a half an hour) and finally said 'fuck it' and turned around to come home. So next week's check is gonna be small. *sigh*

okay, NOW there's snow at my house.

my car is rear wheel drive ><

and i'm still super sick.

EVERYONE IN MY HOUSE GOT A SNOW DAY BUT ME! AND I'M THE SICK ONE! is this fair? no.

ps - gracie, last night my housemates and i built a fire, and drank hot chocolate with peppermint shnapps, and one of my housemates read us Eloise. and i thought of you. :rose:

Oh, wow. Sounds awesome. :rose:

There wasn't even frost when I went to work. I'm there an hour and it starts pouring down snow. Stopped around noon, was melted by 1 when I got off.

I am sooo sick of this damn weather! I have a spouse who commutes year around on his bicycle (roundtrip ferry trip and 30miles riding) and he gets bitchy when he isn't on the damn thing. So I have to listen to him whine and obsess on the weather 24/7 while my son is cheering that we got snow (on top of the ice) and he can't drive out of our neighborhood due to the hills (so no work today).

This is so not our normal winter where we usually only get hit with one snow storm. This year its been nothing but windstorms, snow/ice/floods - clearly someone pissed off the weather gods somewhere.

We clearly need to sacrifice a virgin ...now if only we can find one! ;)

Last I hear Aeroil's still a virgin.

Also their's been no snow in Sweden this year (according to m_wisdom). I think we're getting their rotten weather.

We're supposed to get a wintery mix in the morning. Whatever that is.

Us too! It makes me think of salad greens falling out of the sky -- like "spring mix" or something.

*could go for some spring mix with a raspberry vinagrette...*

I personally prefer to wash snow out of my hair over raspberry vinagrette.

And now the Scientific Method requires me to compare the two hair-washing experiences objectively and empirically.

Thanks, grace

We've got a good winter of snow here. We even had a "blizzard"!

Anything for you.

Actually the repurcussions of the snow day kind of sucked. My car was covered in ice and getting it off was a bitch. I could only open my driver's door the next morning, after much hacking by both my and the brother. By the afternoon I had 3 of the 4, and I got the last that night, all by pushing from inside. The last of the ice melted/fell off my car yesterday. There's a lot of snow here now, just not so much on the roads. Looks like it's really winter.
On the plus side, the snow around where I park is studded with ice bits from falling off/being pushed off the car, so it's better to walk on (less chance of slipping).
