Nah, none of us are unfortunately adopted. We're just great demonstrations of the old "Nature versus Nurter" argument.

All three of us were raised and treated differently than the others. It shows in how we act and react.

I find it all kind of funny though. (I have to or I would end up killing my siblings.)

It is however a good thing that I moved and live a long way from my brother and sister.

I'm not that nice. Not only have I told him, but I E-Mail him, (and his wife. They have seperate E-Mail accounts.) copies of my stories.

You should hear the complaints I receive about my sending them the stories, but for some reason it doesn't seem to stop them from reading the stories.

Oh, I would SOOOO love to do that to my in-laws. Let me just put it this way:

The only member of the family on that side I would WILLINGLY speak to is my constantly crusading and converting Jehovah's Witness grandmother-in-law who is a diagnosed schizophrenic with clinical depression. Everyone in her family hates her, says horrible things to and about her, and call her a psychotic old bitch- until they want money. We talk once a week, and I told her last time she tried to give me money that I was going to burn the check.

I haven't called the other ones in over two years. About once every six months, one of them calls me to threaten to take my kids, adn tell me what a horrible person I am. Then they proceed to ask me to help them fix things. Or ask their grandmother for money, because she won't take their calls.

For some reason, they seem puzzled by my laughter...

"If your brother and Sister paid us and your Uncle back everything we have loaned them over the years, we could buy several houses outright."

In other words my brother and Sister have "borrowed" a hell of a lot of money from my parents and my uncle without ever paying it back.

Now they seem to think the money is their right.

They seem to think that the money and properties my parents have amassed during their lives is actually theirs and not my parents.

Yes greed and avarice is alive and well within my brother and sister.

My husbands family has money. Not a huge amount, but enough to be comfortable. It is THEIR money, we make our own. My sister-in-laws don't understand that I would no more help them "borrow" (meaning beg for and then never repay) money from their grandmother than I would give them the care of one of my children. One's a crackhead and the other is just a whore... I have no use for them, their over-bearing "I'm a Vietnam vet, you will do whatever I say because you're female" father or their mother, who is gentle and sweet to your face and talks shit behind your back.

At least, if Gramma ever decided to stab me, she would do it up front, and tell me why as she did it. She and I think alike- both up front, and both of us HATE backstabbing.
