I think sweat smell is affected by testosterone leveld. So long ago, a certain smell meant a nore manly and strong mate.

Armpit hair may exist (rather than falling off like most of our hair over milkions of years) to hold that smell to attract mates.

Of course today Id prefer to find a woman who likes me because I smell like soap and cleanness. But its always interesting to see how our lives relate to evolution.

It also probay means your partner last year was a manly stud. So good for you!

We do - I'm very lucky to have a loving and sexually fulfulling relationship. We're actually getting married in a few weeks' time - we are blessed with civil partnerships for same-sex couples here in the UK.
