There is an evolutionary basis in this.
I think sweat smell is affected by testosterone leveld. So long ago, a certain smell meant a nore manly and strong mate.
Armpit hair may exist (rather than falling off like most of our hair over milkions of years) to hold that smell to attract mates.
Of course today Id prefer to find a woman who likes me because I smell like soap and cleanness. But its always interesting to see how our lives relate to evolution.
It also probay means your partner last year was a manly stud. So good for you!
lol, ya, I always felt a bit primal when I did this. And, yes, he was a manly man. Tall, in good shape, enjoyed living off the land, wore work boots on a daily basis. That sort of a guy.
As for liking a man for the clean smell, I've been there, too. He wasn't a lover, but I once shared a house with a guy who smelled fantastic when he would come out of the bathroom after taking a shower. There was something about his smell and the cologne-like scent of his body wash, all mixed in with the steam of the shower would just make me weak in the knees.
