It's an icon that I use on some forums from time to time. I doodled it on MS Paint one day. It wasn't until after I had seen the first episode of Monk when he said (in reference to a painting on a wall), "What is this?... It's me, isn't it?" that I realized that indeed, this doodle was an accidental self portrait.
 
I think my eye av says it best for me. If I can think of anything else, I'll post it.
