The other day I picked up a wheel of nice Brie.

This evening I picked up a nice loaf of French Bread.

Cut a wedge out of the wheel of cheese and trim the rind off. Thin cut the bread. Heat the bread for ten seconds in the Nuke then serve with the cheese. Enjoy.

Next I have to introduce her to another favorite of mine.

Slice French Bread into half inch thick slices and lay them out on a backing pan. (Cookie Sheet)

Place pieces of Brie on each slice of bread then bake until the cheese has melted to a nice gooey mess on the now slightly toasted bread.

Remove from oven and let sit just long enough to top with any of the the following.

Roast Garlic
Chutney
Mild Salsa

Enjoy.

Some time ago, I got hooked on garlic and brie. There's various ways of preparing it but in the oven is best. A whole bulb of garlic, trimmed, drizzled with olive oil, cooked in the oven with a round of brie, then presented with a baguette, cut into slices. You take a clove of the cooked garlic, squeeze it onto a slice of the bread, and add some melted brie......heaven. But it only works if both of you have it.

Bread and cheese, especially with garlic, can be numero uno - when done right!
