I shave every week or two.

Never had a problem with razor burn. I "used" to feel itchy if I went too long and it started to stubble in again, but that hasn't been an issue for ages.

I've had it waxed in the past and really liked the effect (baby smooth) but it was a pain in the ass (so to speak) to make a special trip to have it done. The razor zips it off in a couple of minutes. Waxing over the course of year will thin out the growth a lot. You'll have less hair to wax / shave over time.

I did consider laser and "almost" did it (a friend did this professionally), but never quite got around to scheduling it. And she's long gone now.

So razor is simplest / easiest. If you're dead certain you never want it back, laser is the way to go.
