Smooth Criminal

aaf

I like rock music anyway so I will say the AAF version. Though I think Michael did it great the first time. I just like the rock aspect of it the second time. Later.:)

I

Think that the Alien version was better. Michael's was well Michael's.

I really liked both of them. I'm a huge MIchael Jackson fan anyhow, though. The AAF version was done damned well and I was really impressed with how the lead signer managed to capture much of Michael's vocal style in the song. :)

AAF - most definately.........

*Another feeble attempt to rack up the post numbers*

...I'm so sad sometimes - I could weep!

I too love the version by AAF

:p

it cracks me up with all the references to MJ.

It is funny as hell.

Annie are you okay? Are you okay Annie?

Chit! I thought you were referring to "beat it" by M.J…of course. :D

AAF

hands down.

I never cared for Michael Jackson, the only recording of his that I have is beat it, and only because EVH played quitar on it....

The Michael Jackson version is what made the Alien Ant Farm version so cool. WHen I first heard the Alien ANt Farm version I thought of Michael Jackson. Wheverver I hear The AAF version I think of Michael Jackson. AAF is a band consisting of Michael Jackson fans. THey have admitted to idolizing Michael Jackson. So yes the Alient Ant Farm version is bad ass, but all the credit for it has to go to Michael Jackson. The song would of never made it off the ground if it hadent been for MJ.

P.S. Did you Michael Jackson's monkey is named Bubbles?

It's like asking if Gob do a better Paint it Black than the Roling Stones. I happen to think both remakes are the better versions, but that neither of them would have been anything if it weren't for the original. And it's not just the writing of the song that the covering artists have to be thankful for - the originals built a stage for them to stand on. MJ has some incredible music, and Smoth Criminal was excellent.
