Small problem logging in...

Now that I have over 1500 threads to my name on CHYOO, I seem to be having a small problem logging in. I can't get to "My Home" because it times out before I get there.

Probably nothing can be done about this, but I'm posting this here on the off chance that the webmasters might see it and come to my aid. In the meantime, I seem to be able to get to My Threads, My Preferences, and I can log in while browsing through a story, as long as I don't go to the "My Home" page.

An annoyance, to be sure.

Hindsight

It's hindsight but perhaps you could have created a login just for your monster story and avoided the problem. Glad you posted this so no one else gets stuck. I am at about 500 threads right now and I can alreay see that it takes a lot longer to load my home.

Is there anyway to change your time out setting so you have enough time to let it load?

WOW! 1500!

Wow, gystex! 1500 threads! Congrats! My near 500 seems so small now. I was wondering who might have the most threads, I would have to think you're up there. I tried to use the new system to check on author's thread counts, but the furthest I got was the page counts. Based on that, I'd say lilguy was up there as well.

I haven't had any noticeable problem with My Home loads, but this may be in part to my recent cable modem acquisition.
