The only way that I would show a soft bulge is if I am wearing men’s undies that lift the entire package upward, as from McKillop or Joe Snyder. If I were to wear an unlined Speedo type bathing suit, I would show a bulge, the size of which would depend on my state of arousal. I generally agree with you, but a lot of this discussion is how you define bulge. Big guys have an obvious bulge or mass in their crotch area which is patently obvious. Small guys, like me (2 inches soft), often have a little dick which sits on their ballsack and points straight out, without much if any hang. This, depending on what you are wearing, can produce a subtle protrusion, higher than the classic bulge, which is often visible to the discerning eye of some women. Clothes which can bring this out are thin bikini bathing suits or undies, tight yoga pants, or even tight thin jeans.
