Best thing is using your local shops. Utilising things like hairbrushes, clamps from the hardware dept., clothespins, spatulas and wooden spoons, handheld insect zappers etc. Some of the most interesting we have incorporated in that manner were a wooden breadboard with a handle that makes a great and sturdy paddle, the zapper which is like a small tennis racquet, spreader bars made from a couple of hooks and dowel, using old ties and scarves for extra bondage tools, cotton clothesline rope which was $2 for about 10 metres, dildoe shaped iceblocks in soft plastic casing, airline complementary give away sleep masks for blindfolds, protective earphones for sensory deprivation, and of course the dreaded plastic slotted spatula. All it requires is a creative and evil mind tuned into the right direction and the weekly shopping no longer is boring.
