Who is the MC?
Is the MC sleeping on the bus by choice, or are they desperate?
Is it an active bus, or a broken down old wreck?
If an active bus, is the MC2 the driver? another passenger?
If a wreck, where is it parked?
Who encounters the MC?
How does it lead to shenanigans?
what sort of shenanigans?

There's always the Chris McCandless / Into the Wild story... isolated in the wilderness, living alone in a broken down bus. Then, a lost hiker arrives, needing shelter... desperate, helpless, vulnerable.

I thought of this idea because I am reading a biography of another wilderness hermit, who also spent bad weather times in an old bus. so the concept resonates.
But not the only option...

Or, steering this in a sexier direction than a hermit/homeless person in a rusted old heap, buses have long been the staple for young couples looking for an afordable DIY RV. They gut it, then create their own little minihome on wheels. Seems like a couple could do this with the express purpose of using it to travel to lifestyle friendly RV parks all over North America or Europe. A story series could detail their swinging adventures in the sex bus.

Old moving vans are often used the same way and are even more popular as they have a lower deck, higher roof and a ramp in back.

"The Sex Bus" would be a great title.

I have heard of homeless people who manage to scrape up enough cash for a bus ride, then get on an all-night bus just to be in out of the cold on dark winter nights. Especially a bus that runs all night and never kicks you off. You've got to be pretty desperate to avail yourself of this two-dollar hotel room, but it's better than cold hard pavement. People that desperate might also be desperate enough for some even more risqué adventures?

Or, an old out of commission bus finds its way under a rural bridge, where a troll takes up residence. Then that part of the highway gets adopted under the adopt a highway program and people go out to clean up the road, including trying to tow the abandoned vehicles visible from the highway.

Same set up, but instead of adopt a highway, it's someone who is trying to escape an abusive home. Might be a partner, or controlling parents to an adult child, or modern day slavery. The first shelter they find is the bus under the bridge, and at first the troll just watches as they find the troll's nest and curl up to fall asleep.

I'm going with Sex on a Short Bus, a tale of a woman who buys an old bus at a junk yard, fixes it up as she seeks a new life for herself. She yearns for adventure on the open road, devouring life as she finds it.

The idea I like, but 'short bus' has a negative connotation that might turn off readers. The Love Bus. Bonus points if it's a VW, with an 8-track, painted white with #53 on it.
