Annalise transported upstairs gagging seeing some drained humans that were very weak some dead bodies both vamp and were and some new captures shaking in fear. She saw some naked rogue women with chains on that looked horrible she guessed they were being used as prostitutes and she knew they were not English speaking. She talked to them in their language and they explained they were changed a few weeks ago. The men wolfs and vamps were using the females trying to get them to cross breed and create a hybrid and if they didn't agree they were killed.

Duncan came across the scene. It was horrifying. Humans dead and bodies drained. Blood smeared everywhere. Female vampires changed up to be used as sex slaves. It was disgusting. Duncan went to the humans and took off their restraints and asked a few of them how they are holding up and what had happened to them.

Annalise comforted the women who complained they were starving the men barely fed them which angered her deeply. Her crew brought warm bagged blood for them each gulping down about 3 bags each thanking her and Annalise nodded giving them all comfort and knowing she''d wipe all their memories to forget this trauma and the humans as well they'd never be ok witnessing rape and murder daily and not thinking they'd survive. She gave the clothing and comforted the women weres as well who were used by the vampire men. Malcolm had brought steaks for them..

Annalise signaled for them to cover their ears and she sent a high mental alert to the councils.

She also sent for a bus to be brought were the cars were so humans could board.


Once she transported. Everyone track to the vehicles they eared up equipment and moved onto the next location. She wanted Duncan to stay guarding the humans. But he of course refused.council took the criminal rouge to a dungeon for holding until trial .

"If the next place is anything like that one was we need to stop it as soon as possible." Duncan said to Annalise after she tried to tell him to stay with the humans at the first location. "How far is the next location from here?" He asked

"Just a few miles away on the outskirts of town we should get there shortly and the rouges can't earn the others which is a plus and they won't expect us coming. I fear the other place is larger than this location most likely two floors and Who knows what we will see. .. We just need to get there quickly..."

Annalise was nervous about the next takedown there were probably more bodies and the things they were doing disgusted her. She balled her fist angrily glad the council would handle things and furious they were trying to multiply which showed how much they knew . A hybrid could not between a vampire and werewolf. They could reproduce but the child would be fully werewolf.Two vamps could reproduce and they would have a full blood vampire child. And vampire and human would have A vampire . It's all depended on the dominant breed.

"They were experimenting in there weren't they? Between Vampires and Werewolves do you think its possible to create a hybrid between the species? " Duncan was quite curious about it. He knew about breeding that vampires could do and the werewolves by themselves but together? That he didn't know.

Annalise shook her head "it's impossible Duncan"she said . "And the rouges have no clue what they're doing in fact. They have no knowledge bout themselves which is why they're trying to create an integrated pack and things just don't work that way. Malcolm and I are best friends and we used to date but I knew that we would never work and he knew that as well. Both races have destined mates, We have different lifestyles and two alphas can't be together. The two species can reproduce in fact vampires can have children with weres it would just be a werewolf because the gene is stronger".

"Ah okay" Duncan said realizing that a hybrid wasn't possible then a thought occurred about a past mission. " I remember a past mission though. I was leading a team into a science facility and found that these scientists were using methods on vampires and werewolves to try and create a hybird. By the intel we gathered it seemed they were close and had been at it for awhile." He told Annalise this

Annalise gave him a baffled look. If that was true she would have to alert the councils. A splice Dna between the two races wouldn't be only a threat to humanity the hunger of the experiment and the strength. it'd be damn near impossible to stop it be murderous." Where was this located Duncan? That would not only be serious it's be dangerous for everyone"

" we stopped the scientists and my bosses have the intel from the mission. The lab is destroyed we made sure of that." Duncan told Annalise. " anyway we should get to the second location, we can continue this conversation later"

Annalise nodded and everyone gathered quickly in the vehicles. She put were medics on the bus to check humans and they made their way to the second location. She got in her truck thinking about the next location when she drove.

Duncan got in his jeep and drove behind Annalise. They drove into near a forest clearing where there was a lake and a big building beside it it was far away but could see it in the distance, it what where the rouges were he assumed as everyone started to get out of their vehicles.

Annalise gave direction and order as to how they were getting in and that they had to double their efforts if they wanted to get everyone out safely that need to be rescued. She had a gun in her car and gave it to him "stay safe and stay close"she said

She monitored the area a bit before seeing and opening " I'm heading in be ready!"

Duncan got given the gun from Annalise. It wouldn't kill them but it would slow them down a bit. Annalise would do the same plan as before. Transport into the building open the door and then everyone would swarm in.

That's what happened. Duncan saw the door open and then everyone started to rush in and Duncan quickly followed.

Annalise heard growling behind her and saw a few rouges trying to attack her she threw them back and pinned them with her mind as they swarmed in.. Large amounts of rouges rushed in from another entrance shocking her at the numbers and she quickly began her chant pulling positive energy from the room.

Duncan came in and saw what a huge group there was, alot more rouges in this location then the previous. Duncan helped a couple of vampires that were fighting the rouges in a group fight. Giving each of them a couple of surprise hits.

Annalise saw the groups fighting and prepared for the chant signaling both side and began chanting. She quickly saw the large numbers drop and said "let's hurry quick and get the humans and hostages upstairs I imagine it's the same. The council will handle these rouges."

Duncan and Annalise went upstairs with some vampires and werewolves to search for the hostages that the rouges should be holding somewhere in the house.

Annalise scoped upstairs not sensing any threat and went over unlocking the four women she saw shackled. She hadn't seen humans and figured they were in another room. She told the team to split up and half met her here with Duncan . She thought she saw movement in the shadows and she turned see in a rouge charging toward Duncan from behind and she shouted for him to move quickly.

Duncan helped Annalise take off the womens chains. Duncan thinks he hears something but looks around and sees nothing. As Duncan helped one of the women stand up from the floor Annalise shouted at him to move. He quickly turned around to see a rouge vampire charging at him. He pushed the woman to safety and then was instantly met by the rouge. It sent its hand deep into Duncans chest and then bit down on his neck then threw Duncan on the floor.

Duncan laid there blood pouring out of his chest and neck. He knew he was going to die, now maybe he would be reunited with his wife.

"Noooo!"Annalise shouted charging the rougue and snapping its head back killing it instantly. She bent down next to him and the room filled with her crew untying women. She looked at him "no no no Duncan hold on your stronger then that .. Just hold on ok?"she said holding his hand Nd biting her wrist to and putting it to his lips . He was fading fast and she fed him as much of her blood as she could before she felt him fade. She felt the tears stream down her cheeks and she stood her top drenched in blood feeling weak. She was able to neutralize the rouges and call council before feeling weak and blacking out.

Annalise wakes up in her bed and Duncan is on the far other side. Malcolm and his mate are watching over them and have handled things and they informed her of Duncan's change during the transport over and the rouges will be dealt with by council. The battered rouges are at his compound for treatment as well as humans and then Gaila from council would memory wild those who suffered the trauma.

She still felt weak and glanced over at him " is he?..." Malcolm shook his head saying "No but he's vamp now Anna and... He's is also your mate "

Duncan awoke feeling.... strange. He stood up he saw Annalise in bed and Malcolm beside another woman. "Wh.. where am I and what happened? " he asked trying to remember what happened to himself. He remembered being attacked by a rouge and thought he was going to die. Did he? Or has he somehow survived?

Annalise looked at him up and down. He had no shirt on and his body was toned and more defined. He had grown a bit taller and his blue eyes were now icy. Annalise realized she was topless as well and gave Malcolm a side eye as he began snickering along with his mate. "Well give you two privacy to speak" they said and walked out holding hands.

Annalise looked at him and said" You should lie back down Duncan your still healing."she said and moved over to him looking at his neck and chest amazed at how well it had healed and how good he had looked.

She grabbed his hand looking at him seriously and said "I'm sorry Duncan but...you did die. I tried everything I could to save you"she said tearing up remembering the shocked and terrified reaction. She hasn't thought about snapping the rouges neck nor hesitated. She looked at him " I fed you my blood Duncan..I was afraid and you were dying so fast I didn't want you to... I changed you. If you hate me I'd understand but I couldn't let you go.Im not even sure I can change you back...your body was so damaged and I'm sure they pumped us full of bagged blood."

Annalise moved closer to him as Malcolm and the women left. Duncan saw that Annalise was not wearing a top nor a bra, his eyes did drop to her breasts for a second to look, and they did look good.

She then took his hand and looked at him seriously and told him what happened. Duncan was.... was a vampire now? He was shocked he didn't know how to react. He went to Annalise's bed and sat on the edge and just looked at the floor. He didn't say a word back to Annalise he just sat and thought.

Annalise sat silently as he thought what she had told him and turned him into. She stood grabbing her silk robe and wrapping up thankful they had at least put underwear on her. She figured Lily Malcolm's mate had done it her sense of humor just as twisted as her best friends.

" Duncan...I'll give you some time alone if you want"she said feeling like he might upset with her. She hadn't even told him she was his mate yet.They had already sent a body back but not Duncan's and the news of some of the found humans.
