"Annalise grinned and said " Well despite my young exterior Duncan I'm 2100 years old. I stopped aging at 21. I'm originally from Greece I was born there and migrated to America when I turned 200 it was not what I have seen it grow into believe me. I have seen almost all of it some I couldn't handle so I've traveled a lot to places of peace. I've witnessed slavery,camps, and excetera you name it I saw it and it all disgusted me how humans could treat each other that way. I rescued quite a few slaves and freed people from camps when I could. I had to take extreme measures at times to do so but if it helped I did it. I helped in wars at times aiding american reading minds of soldiers and some times using suggestion to confuse them... Teleporting them elsewhere . I have been married twice engaged once I have children as well and they are living in Greece with my parents who look as young as I do if you don't believe. I was friends with divinci, enemies with Hitler and my ex husband was Picasso" she grinned and said "And the thing about Hitler was he's exactly what we are hunting a rouge"

Duncan was intrigued and shocked about what Annalise was telling him. It was unbelievable that she was over 2000 years old. That's just.. wow. "That's amazing. What does it feel like living for so long and seeing so much change and evolve?"

"Its overwhelming at times I do admit Duncan seeing friends die..seeing the hate but the evolution of things is amazing to me. The way things have changed I'm happy with. Yes there are still some feeble minded individuals but most of the world is accepting of everyone and everything.

"Living for so long and seeing things change is rather awesome" Duncan was surprised to even hear what he was saying. Was he becoming a fan of vampires? No he couldn't. Or could he? He never saw them in the good light that Annalise portrays them in so maybe being a vampire isn't as bad as Duncan originally thought

Annalise giggled and said "Well I did have a chance to earn several degrees and I am also a certified historian. I have tons of businesses as well that I own and your right it was rather awesome. You shouldve seen when I went to my fist amusement park! The younglings thought It was hilarious but ive honestly have never seen anything as exciting as this technology developing constantly its incredible.

Duncan has a bit of a laugh "I bet. You have all the time in the world to do these things as well. Must be a pretty good life" Duncan remarked as he finished off another beer

Annalise smiled and shrugged " Its ok I guess I mean some times too much timemis a bad thing. Years for you would feel like months for me and weeks feel like days and days like minutes. Im moving slower but faster at the same time Duncan and then inntime my friends move on leaving me behind and alone to greive by myself sure I have family but they're far away and the ones I develop here I protect them from harm demons, spirts... you name it ive fought against it."

"You and me both then. I have had my fair share of hunting supernatural beings for a short time now" Duncan had killed a lot for his job and he found some of the supernatural creatures to be quite Interesting

Annalise cringed at the word hunting. She knew that is what he did but the way he talked about it as if it were just common chat ticked her off a bit. She sighed thinking about the ones she killed and shuddered as flashes of it flickered through her mind. The thing about living forever was there were a lot of memories good and bad and as much as you want to forget you can't. She remembered when demons killed her first husband... Her second marriage which she was sure would last forever fail even after she changed him. They were friends and he found his mate but she couldn't help but be a bit jealous at not finding hers.

She fiddled with her martini for a few seconds thinking "what the hell are you doing here Annalise? He's a hunter! He tried killing you and your family only a day ago! She gripped her glass gulping the rest down saying " you ok now?

Duncan saw Annalise think some things in her mind. He wondered if he said something wrong. "Yeah I'm okay. Thanks for coming and talking to me I appreciate it. Are you okay?" He asks

Annalise gave a small smile nodding and said " Umm yes Duncan everything is fine. Im glad I could help you out but I think I better get going back home I have a few stops to make and its getting late. She grabbed her purse looking around seeing if anyone was watching because she could just transport.

"Sure no problem" Duncan watched as Annalise stood up looked around and then vanished. Duncan stayed seated for a few moments and then decided he better leave this bar. He hoped in his jeep and went for a drive around town just to kill some time and see if he could notice any interesting.

Annalise shopped in town buying presents for the youngling vampires and teens and vamps with families were given a total amount to spend for their kids after she was done she decided to head into a furniture store to look at this for things to add
They were building up the west wing so that they had more space. Little did she know rouges we're holding it hostage .

Duncan started to drive in back to his base camp now. In his mind he was thinking about Annalise and the little talk they shared. Duncan liked her she wasn't like any vampire he had ever come across. Was nice for a change to meet a peaceful vampire

Annalise stopped smelling the scent of rouges in the store forcefully pushing people out the back and stealing the money form the vault and safe inside the store. She ran im knocking one out and grabbing the other by the hair and slamming him to the ground and pinning him and teleporting all three of them to her dungeon. " Whos in charge?" Annalise said in their mind. She was sure some one got with those people but if she had a lead it was better than anything.

Duncan arrived at his base camp and decided to try and have a nap. He was tired after having a few drinks and also not sleeping lately. Maybe this time he would not have a nightmare, he doubted that.

Annalise had her security lock them in holding. They wouldn't talk and she didn't know if she should call Duncan just yet. She pryed their minds a few hours getting various locations but not an exact. She was frustrated calling things done for the night and contacting Duncan in the morning so they could start searching those locations making it clear to him not to bring his crew.

Duncan awoke in the morning. He had a longer sleep than normal and it was peaceful no nightmares instead he had a weird dream with Annalise in it. Odd he thought. Duncan got up showered, dressed and had breakfast and waited around to be contacted or transported by Annalise.

"Duncan..."she whispered in his mind. "Duncan are you awake?"she asked as she got dressed wondering where they should meet. She would allow him into the coven but she did have a place she stayed in town if things got too much and they could meet there.

Duncan had just finished eating when Annalise contacted him inside his head. "Uhh yes I am" he responded. " So whats the plan?"

"I found know of two locations... Two rouges were trying to rob a store and get more humans to feed on but luckily I got in there and stopped them before they could get away. I clean the humans minds and transported the rouges back to my dungeon. I got into their minds for a while because they wouldn't talk a bit forcefully but it had to be done because they weren't cooperating and I could find of two locations in thinking one were one vamp and I'm contacting the pack alpha as we speak" she said getting dressed.

"Alright nice job. Which location should we go to first?" Duncan responded in his mind.

Were meeting at my apartment in town in my office Duncan. Malcom and I Are headed there shortly see you then"she said sliding on a pair of fitting jeans and a nice halter top with boots. If there was goin to be a take down she needed to be comfortable to take the rouges down they weren't as strong as her but they most likely have alot of them and she did need her security. The only human would be Duncan bringing mlre might complicate things.

She put her hair up in a bun and grabbed her blazer sliding it on before transporting herself and security waited on the floor below in her lobby.

Duncan put on his steel cap boots and brown leather jacket on. He went to his jeep hopped in and stepped on the gas.

Annalise mind sended Duncan her address and he was there in no time. He parked out front of the apartment complex. He went inside to the lobby and sensed a few vampires around him. "Must be Annalise's security " he thought. Duncan headed upstairs to meet up with Annalise.

Malcom and Annalise talked about how they should go about things with the rouge weres and Vampires.She said "Theyve all already fed ferally and have been biting more and more people trying to create armies. Its not safe and they are sloppy with work exposing us to humans. Most are oblivious and to keep hitting town stores is bold of them" she heard footsteps and smelled other wolves joining her security from Malcolms pack. She saw Duncan and gave a small smile.
