I just switched over to Teams. It moved all my contacts and conversations over from SKYPE automatically

I got several messages from Skype saying that I could use my international phone plan until May 5, but today I couldn’t make any calls.

Shame that telegram requires you to use a real phone number

You can just use your ID and not share your number with users you select

I use google chat or wire (which doesn’t require a phone number, has encryption, and an option to have your messages disappear after a set period of time)

That wasn't my point. I'd rather not have something as prolific to be associated with the various data brokers, especially Russian ones, (telegram is a Russian app). It's not the users I'm worried about, rather the app developers.
