Skiing Trip (CLOSED for Me, MistressAthena, Girlygurl and Marcus 2)

Hello

This thread will be based on 4 characters, 2 males and 2 females who are friends and are going a Skiing trip but the thing is one of the girls fancies one of the boys (who doesn't realise it) and the other boy fancies the other girl (who doesn't realise it) and things kick start from there...

I will be playing the boy who has no idea one of the girls fancies him.

Alex finished loading his bags into the truck and walked back inside the house grabbing himself a beer and the brochure he fingured threw it when he had finishe dhe picked up his mobile phone and dialed a number

"Hi, yeah do you want me to pick you up or you coming around here..."

HE waited listening to the reply

"Oh i don't mind" he said

Hair Length: Down to mid-back but kept in a ponytail.

Mel received a call from Alex about the trip. There was always something about his voice that made her feel relaxed and in a very good mood. She enjoyed being friends with him. He wasn't displeasing on the eyes either. She told him he could come pick her up. Her car had been making funny noises and was scared to drive it until she got it checked out.

Mel had just broke up with her boyfriend of one year. She had thought she loved him and thought he loved her in return. But, the longer they were together, the worse things got. They began to argue a lot and he would go missing for days. She eventually found out he had another girlfriend on the side who he actually got pregnant. Mel was incredibly hurt and swore off having any more boy friends for a long time.

Alex had been very nice to her and suggested she go along on the ski trip. Mel thought this was a good idea and change of pace. So, she agreed. Although she warned him, "I have never skied a day in my life." He didn't seem to care about that.

So, now she found herself standing outside with her bags and waiting for Alex to pick her up. There was supposedly two other friends of his coming along -a male and a female. She forgot to ask if they would be in the car too or would they meet Alex and her there.

Alex and Kayla had been friends since high school and she had been really excited to go on this ski trip when he asked her. She was athletic and outgoing. Always on the move. She was mostly friends with guys because she was a flirt and most girls didn't like her because of it. She hoped this wouldn't be the case when she heard there would be another girl coming on the ski trip.

She pulled up to Alex's house in her Tahoe. She immediately saw him packing up. She hoped out gleefully and yelled, "Hey, Gorgeous! When do we get this show on the road?"

~From the way Lance was coming, traffic was bad. He looked down at his clock in his Ford Mustang. As he rounded the corner into the street area he was alittle bit relieved. He was about to see his friend whom he hadn't seen in over a year and a half. He had recieved a call from Alex about a week before hand. He and Lance had been great friends throughout high school and apprently, not much had changed.

Lance pulled up into the driveway and saw one of the girls, Mel. He had never thought about them in a sexual way and hopefully it wouldn't turn out that way on the trip.~

I hope I didn't miss much

(Um Marcus2 where is your character if you are at Alex's ouse then it is only Alex and Kayla who are there we are going to pick up mel when Lance arrives at the house il post as if he is arriving at the house for now)

"Hey, Gorgeous! When do we get this show on the road?"

He turned around, waved and said

"Hi Kayla, yeah i just gotta finish packing the bags then we gotta wait until Lance arrives ok"

Lance's car suddenly puled up into the driveway and lance got out

"I hope I didn't miss much"

Alex grinned and said

"Good to see you Lance, you haven't missed much just put your bags in the truck and we can go and pick up Mel"

((I'm going to do this as though my character didn't know Lance in high school. Maybe she didn't notice him or something like that.))

Kayla grabbed her bags out of the car as Lance pulled up in the driveway. She tossed her bags into Alex's vehicle and began helping Alex pack up.

As Lance walked up, Kayla waved and said, "Lance, right? I'm Kayla. Nice to meet you." She flashed him a smile then she grabbed his bags and tossed them into the car. She had always been sort of a tomboy even though she was extemely beautiful.

She walked over to Alex and playfully nudged him with an elbow. "Ready to go, Gorgeous." She had always called him "Gorgeous" as sort of a nickname. She was just a flirt, but it always seemed like she liked him. She just thought of him like a close friend though.

OOC: Thought I might do one of those tag alongs, like, follow you as we drive there kinda thing.

Well, why don't I tag along in my car, so then we can save some room on the way there and back, sound good?

~he said, going over to them and shaking Kayla's hand~

"Yeah, sounds good, how about you and Kayla follow me to Mel's house then we can head out, the trip is quite long, we have 2 hours on the motorway then we catch a plane to Austria which is about a 4 hour flight i believe hopefully without delays"

He closed the back of the truck and put the lid down and turned to Kayla and said

"You ok with that"

Kayla smiled and said, "You know me. I roll with the punches." She playfully punch him in the arm.

She skipped over to Lance and looped her arm in his. She flashed him a smile and jokingly batted her eyelashes. "You don't mind, do ya?"

Not at all, so we ready yet?

~he asked Alex and looking at Kayla~

Alex hopped into the drivers seat of the truck, turned the ignition on and backed out of the driveway, he waited on the road for Lance to back out and then headed off in the direction of Mel's house.

5 minutes later...

He pulled up outside Mel's house and found Mel standing outside with her bags, he opened the door of the spare seat and said

"Sorry about being a bit late Mel, just hop in il put your bags in the bag, Kayla and Lance are following us in Lance's car, you will meet them at the airport"

He hopped out the side of the truck and walked around smiling.

Mel felt excited when she saw his truck approach. And when he smiled to her she felt very pleasant. Mel was looking forward to spending so much time with him. Spending time with him was always fun and unintimidating. She never before had a friend that made her feel so relaxes and content. She could always be herself around. He seemed to embrace her quarks and forgive her faults. And one can not forget how he was there for when she finally broke it off for good with her boyfriend. Unlike most guys, he did not see this as a moment to make a move on her. He really cared about her and was really there as a friend. Mel felt as though he was the best friend she ever had.

After they loaded up her stuff and were in the truck she looked over to him as he began to drive, "I have a feeling this trip is going to be a lot of fun. I can't wait to meet your friends. But, don't forget what I told you. I do not know how to ski. If I start slowing you guys down or interfering with your fun, you can always go on with out me. I am sure I can hand out at the inn drinking hot cocoa by a warm fire chatting with other people who can't ski."

(I have just been watching TV for about half and hour and saw the annoying Crazy song advert 23 times theyu kept repeating it.)

"I have a feeling this trip is going to be a lot of fun. I can't wait to meet your friends. But, don't forget what I told you. I do not know how to ski. If I start slowing you guys down or interfering with your fun, you can always go on with out me. I am sure I can hand out at the inn drinking hot cocoa by a warm fire chatting with other people who can't ski."

He grinned and shook his head as he turned onto the motorway and said "No no no no no i am making it my personal mission to teach you how to ski no matter how long it takes, by the end of this trip you will be a pro"

He opened the site compartment and pulled out some pieces of paper and said

"Could you maybe sort out the living arrangements, sorry for putting this on you i had some stuff to do didn't have any time to sort out who would be staying where"

She smiled once again appreciating what a considerate friend he was. Then she looked through the papers he handed her, "Well it looks like everything is pretty simple. There are two rooms rented with two beds each at the "Snow Valley Resort. I assume that means you guys will share a room and me and the other girl share a room." She smiled up to him, "I don't know what you are worried about. You did good. The rooms even appear to be next to each other."

She then exhaled, "You know, I don't have any ski equipment. Think I can rent some there? I mean I bought the clothes you mentioned but not ski boots."

"Yeah they rent ski equipment but i can't say it will be comfortable hopefully it wil but it depends on what type they are, some are comfortable, some aren't"

He checked to make sure Lance was behind them which he was and continued

"Well we won't do any Skiing the day we get there but we can check out the local nightlife, i haven't been for awile so it should be good"

She smiled, "Local nightlife. That sounds fun! If there is dancing to do, that I can do no problem!" She rested her hand on his thigh for a moment and looked to him with a smile, "I wanted to thank you again for this invitation. You have been a great friend to me. When I went through all that nonsense with my ex, you were always there for me. And then you invited me on this trip. I know it was your way of trying to make me feel better. I have never had a friend like you. Thank you." She pulled her hand back and exhaled softly as she looked out the window.
