Size Matters

You've been gaslighted by Porn into believing this horrible and racist trope. It emanates from men projecting their fantasies of their wives ONTO their wives.
This, all of this! 👏

To add, for those who say they don't understand how this trope is racist: its roots go back directly to slavery. Even the term “bull” was slave terminology: a black man on the auction block who was particularly large and strong was believed to also be likewise particularly potent, and was advertised as a “bull”; a good breeder for your “stock” (sorry. It's grotesque, but human beings, especially those in power in any given situation, can be astonishingly grotesque).

The white man's greatest fear (and probably also his greatest repressed fantasy) was of one of these “bulls” breeding his wife or daughters. This is the stuff myths are made of. It's been with us ever since, and has grown in our collective psyche over that time. In the 1960s, Eldridge Cleaver talked about the white man's obsession with black cock. The myth continued to grow until porn got hold of it and— of course! — commercialized it. From there, over the past 30 years of so, it has spread like wildfire.

I wish there was an "agree" emoji because it just doesn't seem right to "like" what you wrote, sadly true as it is. I can't help remembering a post from a black man years ago who said something like "I'm sick and tired of being described as a BBC. I'm way more than just my penis and I wish more people would consider the man (of any race) that's attached to their sexual organ."

I guess we deserve that objectivization after millennia of treating women exactly the same way.

My comments on this cut/pasted from another thread:

The BBC and Black Bull myth are racist. The idea that black men are hyper-sexual brutes who are especially aggressive toward white women was conjured by hate-filled, bigoted white men who wanted to discourage their women from having a relationship with them. And claiming they have enormous penises was part of the effort to dehumanize them. Fucking gross.

Despite its sinister origin, the BBC/ Bull myth seems to have taken up permanent residence in our culture thanks to Porn monetizing it. It doesn't matter that interracial relationships are now socially acceptable AND that credible studies show that black men's dicks aren't larger. And it seems to sail way over the heads of otherwise enlightened people that Porn studios hire ONLY huge-dicked black performers, then uses them almost exclusively for interracial "Bull" porn. Ask yourself, when was the last time you saw a Porn thumbnail or clip involving a Black actor where keywords or title don't mention "Black" or "Bull"? Fuckin gross.

It's strange how far we've come in our understanding and treatment of Lesbians, Gays, Bi-Sexual, and Trans people but for some reason, it's still full steam ahead with sexually fetishizing Black Men. I suppose it's because some think these myths are complimentary, but they're not. And they are most harmful to young black men, who grow up thinking they're not "true" men unless their penis is at least 7", they're hyper-sexual and believe that every white woman secretly covets them and will be receptive to their advances. Fucking gross.
