I figured if we could have a queer as folk thread, then we could have one about Six Feet Under. There are only two epidsode left.

Anyone else watch it?

I hated what they did with Nate. Yeah, I'm a sucker and prefer happy endings. He and Brenda deserved one, I thought. I'm very interested to see what will happen in the last two episodes. From the previews, it looks as though George and Ruth may end up back together. At least they are showing them with each other during a scene that implies they are reunited. I think they have a lot of things to tie up without leaving the fans hanging at the end.

I only caught the show a few times and didn't really care for it all that much. It is usually on at the same time as CSI or Dead Like Me, so it gets ignored for those :D

Haven't seen it Crim. Don't watch TV.

But I decided to post so the thread won't die.

Yer welcome. ;)

I never really understood why Nate and Brenda got back together this last time, much less got married. And, in an equally rushed fashion, suddenly they have a miscarriage, get pregnant again, find out there may be something wrong with the baby, and where the hell did Maggie come from? I know she's George's daughter, but she just sort of appeared out of nowhere, and I didn't really get the 'connection' she and Nate somehow developed.

I'm very disappointed in the way the writers have treated that whole part of the show in the last two seasons.

Claire, who used to get on my last nerve, is making me laugh at how she's getting drawn into the office life against her will. It's not surprising she'd find comfort in an older, stable guy considering the turmoil her relationships usually cause.

I'd hate to see Ruth and George together - all that dementia and electro-shock killed the romance aspect of it for me.

David, well, he and Keith and the kids rock. They should get Maya. Leave it to the two homosexuals to have the most stable relationships of the bunch.

My two cents. :)

The only show I absolutely adore and I have to wait for HBO and ShowCase to agree on when it will be shown in Canada.

Now when it does come on its at 10pm on a night something else I like to watch is on.

I lived in a cemetary for 7 years I kind of relate! lol

Maybe Ill ask for the box set for my birthday!!

They did kind of hint that Nate and Brenda might eventually end up back together since she was his wife in the show where they gave different scenarios of how his life could turn out and then later, he kept fantasizing about her while married to Lisa. Them getting married, I think, was soley because he was sent spinning by the revelation of what was going on with Lisa and her BIL and the circumstances surrounding her death. Personally, I think they were perfect for each other. Two fucked up people who were desperately searching for a normal life.

I never really cared much for George in the first place, and I don't like the fact they brought Maggie in and made her such an integral part of what happened with Nate. She definitely should NOT have been at the graveside. I think Nate was drawn to her because she was always so calm and peaceful and that's what he longed for. She didn't seem to have the inner conflict the other characters were filled with.

I agree about Keith and David, and you aren't the only one who thinks they should get Maya. On the forums on the 6 feet under part of the hbo website, others have expressed that same opinion. I think she'd be much better off with them than with Ruth and George.

Oh come on, don't tell me only two people on this whole board follow this show? Aren't you people like me and have no life? :p
