Six degrees thread ... rebooted

You're very welcome. I spend so much time feeling lost in this game, it felt pretty good to have a clue for a change. :D

I'm not positive, but if the string is correct, I believe I earned enough points to win that round. I have one ready to go, but I'll wait for Nor to make a final ruling and post the scores. :rose:

I just got freed up from work ... there is enough of a difference from my personal answer that I may have to take 1/2 hour to an hour to verify your links.

Y'all will be happy to note that my remaining themed sets are in the 12-15 people length.
They also are themed in other ways (like all voice-over work, or the actor-director-actor sets I've done before).
This one I just happened to work up for my daughter's sake.

A reminder of the VERY confusing rules:

*I will post an initial picture, a string of pictures in the middle, and then a concluding picture. The first person has to use the initial picture, and one of the pictures in the middle string, and "connect" them when they appear in the same movie. The next person will take the second performer listed in the previous response, and select one of the remaining pictures in the middle string, and find a film those have in common. This continues until there is only one picture in the middle string, which then has to be "connected" to the end picture.
*There may be more than one correct way of navigating through the set of pictures. However, not every choice will let you get all the way through the list. If you think that is the case, and you find yourself stuck, you may back up as far back in the response list as you like and restart the list at that point.
*A person can only post to a particular set once every 12 hours; that is, you may post again 12? hours after your last post on the same set. The clock also restarts with every new set of pictures.
*Only posts in the string that finally makes it to the end will count for points for those that posted on that set.
*The strings will get longer with each correct set of answers (up to a point).
*One last note, these are all film connections ... not television.

Thanks for the fantastic puzzle Nor!

Hopefully this shorter one will seem a little easier to everybody. :)

Wow, Nor. Your original string is soooo different from the one we ended up with. (And they're both different from the one I started with, too.) :)

 I think I recognize 3 of them, but can only think of the name for 1

This is where being a reader rather than a movie-goer is gonna hurt

That's how I start out lots of times. All you can do is build out from what you know and hopefully some pieces will fall into place. :rose:

Hah! I googled on the name of the first guy in the top row, and one of the first pictures that showed up was former Buffalo Bills coach Marv Levy. And they do look a lot alike! Rather made me laugh, because Marv was pretty popular along the twin tiers.

I knew six right off the bat. I still know six.

This game sucks.

Your guy is one of the 3 I recognized... but I can't think of his name or anything he was in... so not likely to figure him out - at least for quite a while.

Named the other two and have two more tentatively named.

However, after 3 hours I have not one movie to link any of them... so I haven't figured out the identity of any of the key clues.

There's always tomorrow :)
Great mystery nauti
Night all...

Holy Cow, I should have recognized her ... she was a recurring character on one of my favorite shows in recent history. One of just 3 shows I would watch on a regular basis.

Of course she only showed up maybe eight times or so, but still.

So now 8 out of 14, but you would think at least one link to the last guy. He hasn't made that many films. But noooooooo .........

Did I say this was evil and time consuming?

Dang... my guess at the last guy must be waaay off the mark
*sigh*
bedtime for really real now

I have all but two...the first one and the first girl in the top row.

I wonder...... If you get a pic of Marv Levy while googling the first guy, maybe it will work the other way around. :)

I think the last guy was from a neighborhood so tough, they had broken leg of lamb for dinner.

Well, I am getting old, so I just can't see enough facial details to identify Annette Funicello, and one guy in the bottom row I know but can't put a name to.

Plus, like Brad, I have no idea who the person in the initial picture is.

I think I know 1,6,7,8,9 and 12 in the middle...and the last guy..don't know the first girl.
