The only thing I had different in my string was the Buck Henry-Marlee Matlin connection. I used The Linguini Incident.

Which reminds me..... I have accepted this string as correct, but I have a question. Nor, as the creator of the rules, would you allow or disqualify a film in which one or both performers appeared as themselves? This actually came up right around the time you had to take some time off and I'm wondering how it should be handled going forward.

First time in a while ... start out with a fairly easy one.
Use the two larger pictures as the start and end points, whichever way you want to go, and link all the smaller pictures into a string in between them.

None of these people should be hard to identify, I don't think.

Four of the remaining eight unidentified are/were huge, huge, huge megastars, and I figured the last big picture was from the most played Christmas movie ever, so he would be easy. I could see that maybe 2 of the women in the top row might be an issue, but honestly I thought everyone else was readily identifiable.

The next set is going to suck, then.

In 2009, the TV guide network had a poll where they named the top 50 sexiest men ever in films.

The women are tougher, admittedly, though I thought one would be recognizable without TOO much research (the one on the far right). I'll let those play out... I think once you get the one on the right, you might think of the one in the middle.

As far as that last statement goes, do you know that's how I actually thought the game would go when I came up with it? I never imagined people would try to identify every single person in a set -- wasn't even sure people COULD do that. I imagined it as a rambling, back-em-up and start over type of effort almost every time through. Darn Moon got very competitive, as I recall.

I guess I overdid it -- people tend to think of him as he has been the last 30 years or so (a darned good looking guy, but gray) and forget what he was like back in the early days.

I wouldn't mind looking like he did when he was my age, that's for sure.

Usually for the semi-obscure I pick either really famous scenes, or pictures from when they made the biggest splash in films. But every once in a while with a TRULY big-name performer I will reach back a little bit.

And then sometimes I am just in a bad mood when I make up the string.
