I am just leaving a message here. Found out Thursday morning at the start of a 4-day break that a medical condition I have has spread (not cancer, no) and I am trying to deal with some of the results of that.

Also I had an unexpected piece of information from my daughter's medical team that puts a spin on another part of my life for a short while.

The weekend trip wasn't that great as a result -- just the way I am, I was overthinking about these things, and eventually came back a little bit early.

There are a couple of other things that have happened since Thursday, but in any case, I will be away for a little while. Thanks to maggie for posting a note for me.
