Six degrees thread ... rebooted

Peggy Lee was in Pete Kelly's Blues with Janet Leigh
Janet Leigh was in The Manchurian Candidate with Frank Sinatra
Frank Sinatra was in Tony Rome with Jill St. John
Jill St. John was in Diamonds Are Forever with Sean Connery
Sean Connery was in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade with Denholm Elliott

Denholm Elliott was in The Missionary with Maggie Smith

I am going to take a wild stab and guess that THIS is not the film to which Janey was referring -- but it'll work, I think. It is certainly valid, if everyone has been identified correctly.

Good job Nawty. I just found that one! Glad I hit refresh before posting. Would have sucked to be too late.

Except now I haven't researched the next link and it's way past bedtime. :( Hope I still have time to answer one in the morning.

hehe thanks, nauti and sorry... I always make sure I refresh first too. looks like you snuck one in this morning though. well done! :D

Snerk?

Is that supposed to mean you LIKE missionary?

I mean, The Missionary? Of course that is what I meant.

I am also thinking it is VERY possible Brad will stretch his lead by another point by the time we finish this set.

I saw earlier mrtnmoon's post about his mom passing away. I just want to express my deepest condolences.

I'll show a little respect, and keep the thread game-free until the morning, if you don't mind. Thanks.

It's good with me. And again, my heartfelt condolences go our to Moonie and his family.

Thoughts and prayers for peace during this time, Moon.

thanks, everybody. I miss her, of course, and it's weird what little things can stir up memories. just watching tv, for instance. something happened on Y&R today and I could hear her saying, "that damn young and the restless is driving me crazy!" except she'll never say it again. there have been a million things like that over the last couple of days that will make me cry just a little bit, but I'm holding up better than I thought I would. her days of pain and suffering are over... I can deal with a little pain for that. she's resting easy now. :rose:

A reminder of the VERY confusing rules:

*I will post an initial picture, a string of pictures in the middle, and then a concluding picture. The first person has to use the initial picture, and one of the pictures in the middle string, and "connect" them when they appear in the same movie. The next person will take the second performer listed in the previous response, and select one of the remaining pictures in the middle string, and find a film those have in common. This continues until there is only one picture in the middle string, which then has to be "connected" to the end picture.
*There may be more than one correct way of navigating through the set of pictures. However, not every choice will let you get all the way through the list. If you think that is the case, and you find yourself stuck, you may back up as far back in the response list as you like and restart the list at that point.
*A person can now only post to a particular set once every 24 hours; that is, you may post again 24 hours after your last post on the same set. The clock also restarts with every new set of pictures.
*Only posts in the string that finally makes it to the end will count for points for those that posted on that set.
*The strings will get longer with each correct set of answers (up to a point).
*No film may be used more than once in a particular winning path.
*One last note, these are all film connections ... not television.
