I like the lowering the 12 hour rule when it suits me when I'm unable to be on in both the morning and afternoon I like 12 hour rule...so I am willing to be an exception to the rule

Well if you changed it to 8 hours instead of 12, that should fit everyone's schedule no matter where on the globe they are...and it give 3 opportunities to post in a 24 hour period...Or to 6 hours...yes, yes 6 hours would work too...or 4 even, how about 2...

I'm going to leave it as is for now. I like the game to keep moving, though, and I think that the 8 hour rule may benefit that. Seems like folks are afraid to make a move because a guess may be wasted and then you have 12 hours to guess again.

Maybe for the next puzzle I'll change the rule....

I just wanted to bump the pics to the same page....Anything I can do to help the game along with this last 12 hours between guesses posting puzzle...

The only thing is about lowering the 12 hour rule is that there are people across the pond who play. It could turn out that some folks one way or the other could get totally shut out. Especially on the shorter ones.

I like the 12 hour rule. I understand tweaking it when the number of players drops and it takes days (or has happened in the past, a whole week) to finish a puzzle but there are enough players here that a change in the rules seems unwarranted. Besides, remember when this game started it was 24 hours??

Here are some helpful suggestions:
- There is more than one way up a mountain.
- I don't work out all the scenarios, just the one that I start with. This one didn't start out the way that I did, but that doesn't mean it can't work.
- Sometimes it's easier to figure out a way from the current thread and go from there. If it doesn't work out, then go back.

- The guy on the bike is in the greatest movie motorcycle stunt ever and he did his own stunts.
- The guy in the football picture was married to a beautiful buxom blonde who died suddenly.
