Hmm. I like that word. I should use it more in poetry.

Didn't really think this fitted in the Stuff thread... too serious and shit. But I'm in the serois and shit kind of mood.

Take a look at yourself, sister
I see no halo around you

Pour out your soul
on me, dear sister
I'll find the little girl
I always knew

You know I love you like that child
I couldn't hate you, even if I should
sometimes

I just want to make you laugh
again
my friend
so please
come down

and hear me now
listen to my voice

I don't want to hurt you like this
but I have no choice

All the little fairytales
you dream up when you sleep
Every assumtion,
cutting in too deep
so deep into your memories
of what you say
and said yesterday

But every word you say
is an oath for you to keep

So hear me now
or watch me crack
I can't save the world,
just want my sister back.

Seventh daughter
of a seventh son...
How could I ever blame you
for being the chosen one?

Hear me sister
little holy one,
there may be saints
above the stars
but they
are long since gone

This is really nice. I've written quite a few poems about family members. Loved ones can be very inspiring.

Your Down Deep

Your Deep Depths of the Dragons lair, Liar?

(Even though I don't drink)

I need me a whiskey luliby
to help me shut my eyes.
so thoughts of you won't
taunt my night,
the sleep I always seem to fight.
The could haves and should ofs,
all about my lost love.
I need my whiskey luliby
to help me to shut my eyes
