Bullwhip is definately a fave here....stockwhip is great but far too long for our room, so is resting. That being said, it is always dependent on the skill of who controls the whip in question asto how good or bad the experience can be.

I have only had My single tail for about 6 months but am discovering no scene is complete unless finished with it's delicious bite. My first buy (gift) has 8 plaits but I will continually upgrade until I have every one available in My area. The next will be a 16 plait and should be in My toy box by August just in time for the Pirate Adventure!

I did an intoxicating scene from midnight til 3 am last night and once the sub was drifting on the edges of sub space I brought him back to earth with the crack of the whip at his feet. Moans turned to gasps of fearful anticipation.

Personal fave ..Rolled leather single tail..Wide variety of effects possible..As well as a certain...."delicacy of touch".

Hmmm I have tried and will soon be ordering a signal whip.. And I will prob. go with one of the nylons from a good, reputable, manufacturer...
Why the signal???

I'm not entirely bitten by the whip bug, I'm more of a rope bondage and cane kind of person, but I have the opportunity to study with someone really well known as a whip guy, and I think I may want to when I'm feeling more myself.

When I did my research I ended up with a 4' 12 plait signal whip. It depends on your budget as well, the more plaits, the more expensive.

I'm trying not to assume, but, knowing him, he most likely is referring to the dragon's tail. He makes quite wonderful ones.

Depends on your pain level IMHO. F has drawn blood with our bullwhip when I had not even begun to get warmed up and I felt he was going quite easy. The damage was not substantial and was not visible a matter of an hour or 2 later. I think it also depends on the skin of the recipient....my skin is very soft, but also hard to mark for any time at all without lots of effort and repetative play in one area.

Ok, These are my opinions alone.

Shorter well weighted whip. take a piece of string hold one end and draw the other end like you would a bow.this distance is from handle to fall knot.

Hold one arm outstretched and pull string to your cheek,get the idea?

That would be somewhere in your comfort zone to fly a whip for hitting a target.
This does not include forward cracks or side arm or circus crack.

side note; if you are going to hit a person with a whip, dont put a knot in the popper.

Four basic parts to a whip, hand hold(where you hold whip),thong=all forward from hand to fall knot,fall=strip of leather, nylon,popper=poly,nylon or waxed string.


Just a little diffrent approach, stand facing someone, put your hand on persons neck(stiff arm) take string and throw to wrap around person. You can find your comfort zone as well as the length of whip you are looking for.
